Say bye-bye to Winter and HELLO SPRING with this Yin Yoga workshop designed to detoxify the body in preparation to greet the sun.
The warmth of Spring kindle everythings into growth, including stagnation that might have accumulated in our bodies during the Winter months. Yin Yoga offers us tools to stimulate the flow of chi through the body organically, helping to boost our immunity and our overall vitality as well as detox our organs via the meridian system.
Spring is the season of harmony and in this workshop we will open up the heart, get rid of stagnant energy and stimulate circulation. In three hours we will stretch the tissues out of their winter slumber with yin yoga (with a special focus on the groin, IT band and abdominal areas) and self-massage the abdominal organs to encourage detoxification and rejuvenation.
We will also discuss the benefits of a detoxifying Yin Yoga sequence for physical and emotional health and talk about ways we can transition gently as the seasons change.
