Erica Bowron

About Erica: Classes with Erica are dynamic, fun, sometimes challenging, ultimately calming and always incorporate a rocking playlist. Her approach is energetic, encouraging and always with love. She is passionate about helping students shed what no longer serves them and encourages every student to approach their practice with a playful curiosity. You could be an absolute beginner or seasoned practitioner, the asana (poses) themselves do not matter, how we observe our mind while we practice is yoga. And of course you get to remove emotional and physical blockages, have a laugh and feel great along the way - bonus!

She has a down to earth approach and believes in finding the connection and relevance of yoga to our modern, everyday lives. She also incorporate teachings from life coaches/personal development leaders such as Kyle Cease, Tony Robbins, Marianne Williamson and her own coach and mentor Michael Nitti. Erica completed her Yoga Teacher Training in 2010 with Samadhi Yoga (now Jivamukti Yoga Sydney) and studied under Mick Barnes at The Yoga Factory

Erica is passionate about life. She is also a life coach, a singer with progressive metal band Red Sea, a film director and occasionally an artist. Erica loves challenging herself, connecting with people and adventuring far and wide. Highlights include trekking to Everest Base Camp, performing in the first Tour of Duty concert in East Timor, trekking to live volcanoes in Sicily, sleeping under the stars in the Sahara Desert, sailing the Whitsunday Islands and performing at the Sydney Opera House.

Influenced by:  Jivamukti, Ashtanga and Kundalini yoga styles - particularly teachers Mick Barnes, Idit Hefer Tamir, Patty Kikos and Karo Tak.
