Our 4-Week Introduction to Yoga Course starts August 9th Wednesday nights at 5:30 pm-6.45pm. This course is an awesome opportunity for you to start your yoga journey on the right foot, Yoga for All style! Covering the basics of yoga (including yoga breathing, philosophy and alignment for poses), the four week course allows you to dive deeper into the practice, ensuring that you start your yoga journey prepped and ready to tackle group classes or even start your own home practice. Great for those brand new to yoga or those feel like reawakening their beginners mind. Lyssa will break down the poses for you, show you how to stay safe, speak about the 'why' of yoga and make your intro to yoga lots of fun!! The investment for this 4-week program is $80.

Power of the Five Elements
Integrating Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Yin Yoga for Health and Stress Resistance
Experience this unique 3-hour intensive workshop with Five Element acupuncturist Mark Hoppe & Yin Yoga teacher Tahnee McCrossin.
A working knowledge of the Five Elements of Chinese medicine and one's own Constitutional Element allows a yoga practitioner to understand why they react in a certain way to stressors, be they on the mat or in their life. Integrating the ancient wisdom of Taoist Chinese Medicine with current mind-body research and the ancient practice of Taoist (Yin) Yoga, this workshop will help you to begin to understand the elemental types and how to manage stress and enhance your life through this wisdom.
Mark and Tahnee will lead you through a practical and experiential introduction to the Five Elements, exploring the invitation to transformation contained within each element, as well as supportive practices including diet/tonic herbs, lifestyle and, of course, yoga.
Mark Hoppe completed a 4-year degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002. Since 2005 he has focused on 5 Element Acupuncture, training with master practitioners in Australia, UK and USA. Mark is passionate about what he calls "dirty hands spirituality" - seeing the truth of who we are, both light and dark - and finding the invitation to growth in every block and challenge. He finds 5 Element Acupuncture to be an excellent tool in this regard.
Tahnee McCrossin has a deep passion for Taoist (Yin) Yoga, abdominal massage (chi ne tsang) and herbalism and integrates her direct experience working with and on the organs and the body's energetic and physical systems into her teaching. Tahnee studies Taoism and Yin Yoga with Mantak Chia and Paul Grilley respectively and Planetary Herbalism wiht Michael Tierra, and is the founder of Yoga for All. She is currently based in Byron Bay.
