About Yoga for All Newcastle
Yes, it's true! We're opening a second studio on November 1, 2015 in the Hunter St Mall, at Shop 1, 159 Hunter St (opposite Sushi Koo and the Newcastle Permanent). We can't wait to share our new space with you. Bolton St will continue to exist, offering classes in the space you already love.
Welcome to Yoga for All Newcastle.
Yoga for All is Newcastle's first 'pay-what-you-can' (PWYC) yoga studio. We have no memberships, or passes. We supply everything you need for your practice (mats, props etc). All we ask is that you pay what you can afford, between $5 and $20, for any class you attend (if you're not sure, around $10 is a great starting point). You'll find a blue box in the studio, waiting to gratefully receive your donation. That's it. No catch. No fine print. Help ensure that we will be around for the long run by paying according to your potential.
Yoga for All's aim is to make yoga available to as many people as possible, regardless of financial situation, but the system only works when everyone is fair and honest. Feel free to pay an extra dollar or two whenever you feel flush; you'd be surprised how every little bit adds up. Our teachers are awesome, dedicated to constantly learning (we're all students first, teachers second!) and are stoked to be sharing their love of yoga with you. They're encouraged to be unique, individual and authentic, so be sure to try them all out; they'd love to meet you.
Yoga for All Newcastle is for everyone. Young, old, sick, healthy, couch potato, iron man. We offer a variety of different practices so that there is something to suit every individual. We offer community events, workshops and yoga programs, so please feel free to sign up to our newsletter or like us on Facebook to stay in the loop.
We can't wait to meet you!
Huge love from Tahnee and the Yoga for All team xx
